Chris Schmidt, the owner, is a local talent who began his career in the electrical industry in the early 2000s and joined the IBEW in 2006. Over the years, he has gained extensive experience as an apprentice, journeyman, and foreman with some of the region's most esteemed electrical contractors. In 2016, Chris decided to strike out on his own, founding Schmidt Electrical & AV Services. Under his leadership, the company has become one of Michiana’s premier electrical contractors, known for its expertise in high-end residential construction as well as its strong reputation in the commercial and AV sectors..
